RESEARCH · TEACHING · PRACTICE

The tools of a well-funded university, available to any school that wants them.

Three products from QSnxt: a workspace for the whole research pipeline, an open-source LMS anyone can install, and a catalogue of serious games that put strategy under real pressure. They were built to work as one loop.

One loop, not three tools.

Research feeds teaching. Teaching feeds practice. Practice sends better questions back to research.

01 · READ

Faculty and students find, read and situate the literature with ScholaRef.

02 · TEACH

The course lives in Cursus: the school's own install, its own data.

03 · DECIDE ↺

Students run one of the serious games inside the course and defend real decisions.

01. RESEARCH

ScholaRef

One workspace for the whole research pipeline: find and situate the literature, prepare the manuscript, pick a venue, and track every submission alongside your co-authors. Fourteen tools (deep review, reference and novelty checking, a journal recommender, a shared submission dashboard), and a token is spent only when you actually run one.

02. TEACHING

Cursus

FREE · OPEN SOURCE

An AI-native learning platform with nothing legacy in it. No clogged menus, no twenty years of accumulated settings: a course, the people in it, and the work. Free and open source, forever.

03. PRACTICE

Simulations

FIRST PRIZE · EDTECH QUÉBEC 2024

A catalogue of serious games built to be taught, not just played: each with its rules, the material to run it in a course, and case studies students can argue about. The Chips War Game leads it: teams run a computer company in a simulated market, and every round the market answers back. Played yearly at the Futures World Championship, HEC Montréal.

WHY CURSUS IS OPEN SOURCE

A school's budget should not decide the quality of its LMS.

Low-resource universities and high schools across the world should be able to install the best LMS anyway. Cursus is free to download and free to run on your own servers, with no seat count and no vendor between you and your students. If you have nothing on premise, we rent you server time at a very low margin. That is the whole business model.

IF YOU HAVE SERVERS

Install it yourself. Free forever, every feature, your data on your machines. We help you get it standing.

IF YOU DON'T

Rent server time from us at cost plus a very small margin. No per-student pricing, no lock-in: leave with your data whenever you like.

RUNNING ON CURSUS

Science des données au féminin en Afrique

A data-science programme for women across Africa, taught end to end on Cursus.
